West Palm Beach Meth Addiction Treatment

Meth – an abbreviation of methamphetamine, also commonly known as crystal, speed, ice, blue, poor man’s cocaine, shards, and rock candy (among other nicknames) – is one of the most extreme, addictive substances available today, according to MethProject.org. The National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) reported that approximately 1.6 million people in the United States admitted that they used methamphetamine in 2017. An estimated 964,000 people had a methamphetamine use disorder in 2017. Tragically, about 15% of all drug overdose deaths that year involved meth alone or meth combined with a dangerous synthetic opioid. If you or someone you love is addicted to meth, you are not alone, and there IS hope for healing and freedom from addiction! The Better Tomorrow Treatment Center understands how devastating a meth addiction can be; both the short-term and the long-term effects on the body and brain are highly destructive. We also know that because meth is so addictive, it can be difficult to break the cycle, which is why we take a holistic, long-term approach to helping people recover from meth addiction. We offer safe and supportive housing, individualized treatment programs, and the resources and staff assistance you need to achieve – and maintain – sobriety. What To Expect

Prior to being admitted to our West Palm Beach meth addiction treatment center, each patient will need to complete a pre-admission screening so our team can determine whether our facility is the right fit for you. If we are not, we will recommend and connect you with other centers that may be a better match for your specific situation; if we are, you will immediately begin completing intake, attending orientation, completing assessments, getting settled in housing, and meeting other patients and staff. A clinical program will be designed specifically for you. The next phases will consist of an intense schedule of treatment, that may include detox, Day/Night, IOP group therapy and other custom designed plans for your recovery. Days 1 through 45 will be focused on helping you come to terms with your meth addiction and set goals for recovery. Days 45 through 90 will be focused on helping you determine a long-term plan for recovery and an immediate discharge plan. Many of our patients graduate at 90 days, but if you need longer to complete the program, we can look to make a phase down plan  to outpatient status where you may continue receiving our supportive care.

Everyone’s meth recovery journey is unique, and it is just that – a journey. Getting clean doesn’t happen overnight, but it IS possible. At Better Tomorrow Treatment Center, we are always here for you, and we involve all of the support you need to help you develop the skills to overcome your meth addiction.

Do I Need This? Can I Afford This?

A methamphetamine addiction doesn’t have to steal your happiness, destroy your relationships, or ruin your life. Sometimes it can be hard to determine when or if treatment is needed, but because meth is highly addictive, even using just a few times can lead to a gripping addiction. If you or a loved one has sudden changes in appearance (like weight loss, skin sores, burns, rotting teeth, dilated pupils), or sudden changes in behavior (like agitation, paranoia, hyperactivity, erratic sleeping patterns, reduced appetite, violence, outbursts), or have tried to stop using meth and have been unsuccessful despite negative consequences, then it may be time to get help. Call our West Palm Beach meth addiction treatment center to discuss more symptoms and signs of meth abuse and determine if we are the best resource for you.

Many struggling individuals and families are not sure whether or not they can afford treatment, but federal law requires insurance providers to offer coverage for meth addiction rehabilitation. We accept most major insurances. If you have insurance, you are likely a great candidate for meth addiction treatment from the Better Tomorrow treatment center. Contact us to learn more about the cost – it is free to call, ask a few questions, and have us verify your insurance coverage, because we truly want to help prospective patients get the help they need to treat their addiction.
