We at Better Tomorrow Treatment Center are well aware that addiction is a painful disease. It not only affects the people struggling with addiction, but also their families, their loved ones, their friends, and even their coworkers. Did you know that of the almost 21 million Americans who have at least one addiction, only 10% of them receive treatment? Many men and women who are dealing with the devastating effects of substance abuse treatment are discouraged, have given up hope, or feel ashamed to get help. Some have tried rehabilitation before and found limited success, while others think that getting clean is too far out of their reach.
However, addiction doesn’t have to be the end of the story; it doesn’t have to ruin your life or steal the precious future you have! At Better Tomorrow Treatment Center, we are passionate about helping people heal from addiction and live a healthy life. There are many things about our addiction treatment center that make us uniquely able to empower our clients on their wellness journey.
We design a customized, holistic approach for each individual that we accept into our program that utilizes tried-and-tested methods for getting clean and staying clean. Because many people aren’t familiar with us yet, we’re going to share 5 things that you should know about the Better Tomorrow Treatment Center in order to get to know us better and determine if we are the right fit for you or your family member!
First, you should know about our mission. This mission statement informs everything we do, all of the programs that we offer, and the holistic approach we take to treating our patients.
Better Tomorrow Treatment Center’s Mission
The Better Tomorrow Treatment Center is committed to enhancing the lives of men and women living with the devastating effects of drug addictions by providing quality mental health and abuse treatment in an atmosphere that enhances healing and promotes compassion and well-being for all. We seek to achieve our mission with exceptional leadership, experienced staff, and lifelong relationships with those we serve.
What this means is that our goal isn’t just to help people get clean and then move on to the next patient, and we don’t purely focus on just “curing” the addiction itself (which is often a symptom of other pain). We focus on whole-person health. We get to the root of the problem. We give our patients the highest quality, ongoing resources and the close relationships they need to end addiction forever.
Second, you should know about our location and supportive housing. This is something that sets us apart from other addiction treatment centers. Better Tomorrow is located in West Palm Beach, Florida – a part of the country with beautiful weather and abundant living/recreational opportunities for family members who want to be close or come visit. For patients, we offer high-quality addiction treatment housing where you will feel safe and cared for. It is the perfect atmosphere for fighting your addiction.
Supportive housing is equipped with everything you need for the transition, including a state-of-the-art kitchen and living area. Our houses are pet friendly, so you can keep a valuable member of the support team with you if applicable. Some of our recovery housing offers the option of recreational areas and swimming pools. You will share your home with others who are also recovering from addiction, which means that you can have additional support from people who understand what you’re going through. And of course, our homes are entirely substance-free, meaning that you won’t have to worry about the temptation to fall back into addiction.
Third, you should know about our services. We offer personalized treatment for addictions to heroin, alcohol, methamphetamine, benzodiazepine, cocaine, crack, marijuana, inhalants, stimulants, synthetic drugs, hallucinogens, ecstasy, and more. Our therapies are tailored to the needs of the individual, and we have many different types of therapies we can use during the course of treatment: from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT), motivation interviewing (MI), trauma resolution (role-play exercises, one-on-one therapy, coping skills), eye movement desensitization and processing (EMDR), and couples therapy.
Fourth, you should know about our methods. The Better Tomorrow Treatment Center strives to be a leader in the addiction treatment center industry by providing customized structure and treatment based on where you are at in your journey. Everyone’s recovery journey is unique! Yours begins with a pre-admission screening, to either determine that our program is a right fit for you or direct you to a place that may suit your specific needs more accurately. During the first week of initial orientation, you will settle into housing, complete assessments, and meet other members of the community and staff. The next two weeks will establish a structure where you regularly and frequently attend treatment and immerse yourself in the clinical program.
Days 1 – 45 will be focused on helping you realize the underlying elements of your addiction and set treatment goals; days 45 – 90 will be focused on identifying a long-term plan for recovery. After graduation, which brings a new set of challenges, you can choose to phase down to outpatient status. Our clinicians work with you every step of the way, and we involve your family members when appropriate to accompany you on this journey.
Fifth, you should know about our certifications. We are licensed by the Department of Children and Families, certified by the Florida Association of Recovery Residences, and are Joint Commission approved. This means that we are highly qualified to help you recover from addiction! Our staff is made up of caring, expert professionals, many of whom have either personally experienced addiction and recovery or who have family members who have been through the process. All members of our team have extensive education and training.
If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, don’t wait. The Better Tomorrow Treatment Center is here for you! Call us today to speak to a team member and begin your life-transforming recovery journey.
